Parabolic trough collector (PTC) ‘Volcano’

Parabola is a geometric figure. The specific quality of parabolic curvature is that it reflects all sunrays falling perpendicular to its aperture on a single line focus resulting in concentration of sunrays. Heatray solar Pvt. Ltd. Has designed and developed a ‘Parabolic Trough Collector’ along with a tracking system. Sun tracking is must for any parabolic trough collector.

This concentrations is used for heating the heat transfer fluid viz: water, thermic oil etc. filled in the absorber tube placed at the site of the focus.
